Refund & Cancellation Policy
rawquery is operated by SIA Wyrd, registered in Latvia. Payments for rawquery are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as our Merchant of Record. This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work.
Free tier
rawquery offers a free tier with no payment required. There is nothing to refund on the free tier.
Paid subscriptions
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Paddle. When you subscribe, Paddle charges you at the start of each billing period. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes (including VAT) on our behalf.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You retain full access to paid features until that date.
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier.
- Your data is preserved - nothing is deleted when you downgrade. You can re-subscribe at any time.
No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days of a billing period after cancellation.
Refunds
Since Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refund requests are processed through Paddle. Here is how refunds work:
- Within 14 days of initial purchase: If you have not materially used the paid features of the service, you may request a full refund in accordance with EU consumer protection rules (Directive 2011/83/EU). Contact us at hello@rawquery.dev and we will process the refund through Paddle.
- After 14 days or after material use: Refunds are not guaranteed but may be granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. We are reasonable people - if something went wrong, reach out and we will find a fair solution.
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount), contact us immediately and we will correct it.
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method via Paddle.
How to request a refund
Email us at hello@rawquery.dev with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Plan changes
Upgrades: When you upgrade to a higher plan, the change takes effect immediately. You are charged the prorated difference for the remaining billing period.
Downgrades: When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to the higher plan until then.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice via email. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect. Existing billing periods are honoured at the old price.
