Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of rawquery. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Who we are

rawquery is a product of SIA Wyrd, a company registered in Latvia (European Union). Our infrastructure is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).

Contact: hello@rawquery.dev

The service

rawquery is a data platform that provides data storage (Apache Iceberg on S3), compute (DuckDB query engine), data ingestion (connectors for databases, SaaS APIs, and custom HTTP sources), SQL transforms, chart and page publishing, a CLI, and a Postgres wire protocol interface.

The service is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany) and accessible via rawquery.dev, the API at api.rawquery.dev, and the CLI tool.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You may sign up either with an email and password, or by using a third-party identity provider we support (currently GitHub and Google). When using a third-party provider, your account is identified by the verified email the provider returns to us. You are responsible for keeping your password and any linked provider account secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at hello@rawquery.dev.

Your data

You own your data. We do not claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over the data you store, sync, or query through rawquery. We process your data solely to provide the service.

You can export your data at any time via SQL queries or in Iceberg format (standard Parquet files). You can delete your data and account at any time from your profile settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Service availability

We aim to keep rawquery available and reliable, but we do not guarantee specific uptime percentages for the free tier. The service is provided on a best-effort basis. Paid plans include a reasonable availability target. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance when possible.

Billing

rawquery offers a free tier with included query, storage, and connector limits. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).

Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes (including VAT) on our behalf. We do not store your payment card details.

Prices may change with 30 days' written notice. For details on cancellations and refunds, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, rawquery is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free-tier users, this cap is zero.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or abuse the service.

On termination, your data enters a 30-day retention period. During this window, you can contact us to recover your data. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Riga, Latvia.

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
